Disneyland Resort 2001 Downtown Disney Press Event Photos/Packet. This packet is great for a Disney Collector. This packet was issued to Media personnel and upper management for the press event during/before the opening of Downtown Disney. The photos are now out dated due to the fact, the Downtown Disney District has undergone some changes over the years. The photos included are some restaurants which are no longer at the Downtown Disney District; Rain Forest Cafe, House of Blues, ESPN Zone, Y Arriba Y Arriba.
The Packet includes the original shops and restaurants line up during the opening. Most of these shops are no longer in business at the Downtown location. This is truly a snapshot in time from 2001 and a piece of the Disneyland Resort history.
The packet also includes a memo on the a Celebrity Studded Grand Opening Party For Downtown Disney to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Hosted by Sylvester Stallone.
